Gasteria 'Little Warty': An outstanding indoor plant that will not only tolerate low light conditions, but thrive and grow. Its leaves are speckled with dark and light green and have a slight bronze sheen. Succulent grown for interesting foliage. As it grows its tongue-like leaves stack up upon each other and new offsets can sprout from its base. It will produce a tall, narrow bloom stalk with trumpet-shaped, coral flowers. Sold in 2" pot.
Gasteria have low light and water requirements. They are one of the best types of succulents to grow indoors because they can tolerate low light conditions and still maintain their form and colors. Plant Gasteria in deep pots with drainage holes as they grow deep roots and will not tolerate standing water. Use a gritty, well-draining soil and water deeply, but only when the soil is fully dry. Protect from frost.
